sakkas-inven-app
QR-code warehouse inventory system for Sakkas Store, built to replace a manual process where workers searched aisles using handwritten labels and pen-marked quantities.
- Organization
- Sakkas Store
A How it works
- 01Each physical box gets a QR code that's just a pointer to a database ID
- 02Scanning a box queries Postgres live and shows its current contents, location, and quantity — so it's always accurate, regardless of who last picked from it
- 03Picking an item decrements its quantity through an API route; when the quantity hits zero, the item is removed from the box
- 04Users pick their name and enter a PIN on a sign-in screen, and that name is recorded against their activity
C Features
- 01Camera-based QR scanning with double-scan protection and a manual fallback
- 02Box create, read, update, and delete, with location tracking
- 03Bulk A4 label-sheet printing with duplicate-ID prevention
- 04Live, searchable catalog backed by debounced database queries
- 05Per-box activity history
